Afzalgunj police detected grave snatching cash within four days and recovered stolen property i.e. Rs. 2,05,000/- out of Rs. 2,05,380/- by apprehending the accused Mohammed Rukhsan Khan @ Irfan S/o Late Mohammed Raheem Khan, age 23 years, Occ: Plumber, Religion: Muslim, R/o H. No. 16-7-367, Opposite lane of Savera Hotel, Azampura, Chaderghat, Hyderabad in Crime No. 401/2012 U/s 382 IPC of PS Afzalgunj, Hyderabad.
On 23-06-2012 at 2045 hours received a complaint from Sri Dasari Mogulaiah, Occ Temporary worker in APSRTC, Kachiguda bus Pass section, R/o H. No. 9-9-133, Govt. Handicapped Boys Hostel, Reddy colony, Champapet, R. R. Dist. stating that on 23-06-12 at about 2000 hrs they closed their counter at Kachiguda and took collection amount of Rs. 2, 05, 380/- to deposit at CBS. They reached at about 2130 hrs on Kinetic Honda. Yadi Reddy was carrying the cash plastic bag mean time one person came from back side and snatched Plastic carry back containing Rs. 2,05,380/-. Basing on this complaint, Afzalgunj police registered a case in above mentioned crime number and took up investigation.
On credible information on 27-06-2012 at 0845 hours Afzalgunj police apprehended the accused Mohammed Rukhsan Khan @ Irfan at Chaderghat along with one bike Bajaj CT 100 no. AP-36M-5154 and during the interrogation he revealed that he along with his friend A-2) Ameer (absconding) hatched a plan to commit theft of cash bag from the complainant and as per their plan on 23-06-2012 at 2030 hours the accused A-1) Mohd. Rukhsan Khan and A-2) Ameer went to Kachiguda Bus pass section office and noticed the complainant Sri Mogulaiah along with his colleague M. Yadi Reddy carrying cash bag and started towards CBS. The accused followed them on red color Bajaj CT-100 bike bearing no. AP-36M-5154 and when they reached CBS, A-1) Mohd. Rukhsan khan snatched cash bag from Yadi Reddy and sped away from there.
The good work has done by Sri K. Sudarshan, Detective Inspector of Police along with Afzalgunj PS crime staff and the staff will be will be appreciated with suitable rewards.
