Internet preferred for contacting government in Australia

Hyderabad Deccan News January 19/2012 : The internet is now well established as the preferred means of accessing government services, according to a study released today by Special Minister of State Gary Gray.

The report about Australians' use of e-Government Services shows that the internet, when available as an option, is the most commonly used channel to contact government.

"When the internet is an option, in 2011 nearly half of Australians (47 per cent) used it in their most recent contact with government," Mr Gray said. "Nearly half (46 per cent) also said they preferred the internet over other forms of contact.

The AP Inline Roller Hockey Men & women teams clinched the silver medal

Hyderabad 07/2012 (Hyderabad Deccan News) : The Andhra Pradesh Inline Roller Hockey Men & women teams clinched the silver medal. First time the Andhra Pradesh Men team entered finals against defending champions Haryana. Both the teams scored 5 goals each at the end of match and in extra time both the teams made one goal each.

The Haryana men team first made the Golden Goal and Hence the Andhra Pradesh team secured the Silver Medal. Total 8 teams participated in Inline Hockey.

Junior girls team first time won the Gold Medal and at the same time in Quads Hockey women team won silver.
