Every year in mid summer, Lord Jagannath along with his sister Subhadra and his elder brother Balabhadra goes on a vacation travelling in their chariots from his temple Puri to the grand palace in country side. The belief of the Hindus is one of the biggest festivals in India. This festival is also celebrated in Kolkata.
