Every year in mid summer, Lord Jagannath along with his sister Subhadra and his elder brother Balabhadra goes on a vacation travelling in their chariots from his temple Puri to the grand palace in country side. The belief of the Hindus is one of the biggest festivals in India. This festival is also celebrated in Kolkata. Before the day of Rath Yatra, chariots and idols of gods and goddess are being sold in the markets. Images by Rajreeta Sen / IBNS

Budding test pilots, flight engineers graduate

Bangalore, May 25 (IBNS) Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne PVSM AVSM VM ADC, Chief of Air Staff, Indian Air Force, presided as the Chief Guest for the Graduation Ceremony of the 35th Flight Test Course.

He presented certificates to ten Test Pilots and three Flight Test Engineers graduating in the Flight Test Course of the Air Force Test Pilots School in the city.

On successful completion of 48 weeks of training, the graduating officers will now join the select band of flight test professionals in the country.
