Sensational double murder case worked out by New Delhi Police

New Delhi January 02/2012 (Hyderabad Deccan News) : ? Several teams of district worked in tandem to identify 2 UIDBs of a boy and girl at different place and different time and to finally arrest the killers.

Finally, Anti- Snatching Cell, under the leadership of Inspector Surender Singh Rathee assisted by SI Ajay Karan CRACKED THE CASE 6 months after the incident.
With the arrest of (1) Mahender Yadav s/o Vidhya Ram Yadav R/o H.No. D-47/1, Yadav Nagar Samay Pur Badli, Delhi Age 31 Yrs, (2) Narender Kumar s/o Giriraj Kashyap, r/o Village:- Pilakhni PS Syana , Distt. Bulandsahar, U.P Age 19 yrs & (3) Suleman s/o Ahamad Khan R/o H.No. 160, E-Block, Yadav Nagar SamayPur, Delhi Age 31 Yrs. Anti- Snatching Cell, under the leadership of Inspector Surender Singh Rathee and in the supervision of Sh. Vedprakash ACP/OPERATI0NS Outer district has worked out two cases of Murder in which dead bodies of two persons were thrown at two different places in Bawana canal to destroy the evidences afer committing murder.

INCIDENTS

1. Case FIR No 204/11 dated 17/06/11 u/s 302 IPC PS Bawana, Delhi
An information was received through PCR vide DD No. 26 A at PS Bawana on 17.06.11 at 4:50 PM regarding a female dead body lying near bridge in Bawana Canal near Sector-5 Bawana. On spot inspection, a female dead body aged around 20/21 years fair complexion medium built having SONIKA tattooed on right hand having slit cuts on the throat was found entangled in grass near the bank of the river. Her hands were tied on her back with the help of a cloth. FIR in this regard was registered. Deceased was later on identified as Sonika D/o Sh Ram Kumar r/o D 56/3 Yadav Nagar Samaypur Badli, New Delhi after issue of hue and cry notice and publishing her photo in the newspapers. She was found to be working in a chemist shop in Bharat Nagar, New Delhi and used to go to her office by train from Badli to Azadpur.

2. Case FIR No 273/11 dated 18.06.11 u/s 302/201 IPC PS K.N. Katju Marg, Delhi.
An information was received through PCR vide DD No. 3 A dated 18.06.11 at 1:05 AM regarding a dead body in Haidarpur water works plant ring road, Haidarpur, Delhi. On spot inspection a male dead body age-25/26 years fair complexion, medium built wearing Pant-Shirt and shoes was found near the JAAL of Haidarpur water treatment plant. There was slit injury on the neck and stab injuries on the side of the face. There were beating injuries on the right hand as well as on the face and forehead. From the facts it appeared that someone has killed the person and disposed him off in Bawana Canal to destroy the evidences. Hence FIR was registered accordingly. During investigation the deceased was identified as Abhay s/o Sewa Chand Sharma r/o T-695, B-3 Gali No. 21A , Baljeet Nagar, Patel Nagar, Delhi. He was found to be working in the same shop where Sonika D/o Ram Kumar (as reported above in PS Bawana) was working. He was found to be staying in Ranjeet Nagar, Patel Nagar with his family as a tenant.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION

As per the directions of DCP/Outer District, A team of Anti-Snatching Cell Outer District, Delhi comprising of Inspector Surender Singh Rathee, SI Ajay Karan, SI Sumit, HC Ravinder, Ct. Rajesh, Ct. Dharmender Ct. Mahesh, Ct. Gopal, Ct. Krishan, Ct. Sanjay & Ct. Vikrant was constituted to assist SHO/PS Bawana & SHO/PS K.N Katju Marg under the supervision of Sh. Ved Prakash, ACP/Operations, to look into the matter as a fresh for search of accused persons. Both the cases were found to be interconnected as both the deceased of these cases were working at the same place and know each other very well. They both were good friends as well. During this exercise, the team contacted various persons including secret informers of the locality and family members of Sonika. On the basis of the local enquiry, secret information the team reached to a conclusion about the involvement of Mahender Yadav and his friends into the matter.

1. INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI

The team on the basis of secret information apprehended Narender Kumar s/o Giriraj Kahyap r/o Village Pilakhni PS Syana, Distt. Bulandsahar, U.P (friend of Mahender Yadav) near Badli Railway Station on 31.12.11. On sustained interrogation he admitted of his involvement in the murder and disposal of dead bodies of both the above cases with Mahender Yadav, Suleman and some other persons and using of a Maruti Omni van. On his instance two persons namely, Mahender Yadav s/o Vidhya Ram Yadav R/o H.No. D-47/1, Yadav Nagar Samay Pur Badli, Delhi & Suleman s/o Ahamad Khan R/o H.No. 160, E-Block, Yadav Nagar SamayPur, Delhi were arrested from the same area. Mahender Yadav revealed that Sonika was residing with her family in his neighborhood. She was smart and good looking. Though Mahender was married but he wanted to make friendship with Sonika. Accordingly he started frequent visits to the house of Sonika and increased contact with Sonika and her parents. At that time, Sonika was working in a small factory in Samaypur Badli and getting a salary of Rs 2500/- only. To impress Sonika, he arranged a job for her in a chemist shop by the name of Kash Chem in Bharat Nagar with a salary of Rs 5500/-. Mahender was also working in a chemist shop towards the same area. He used to take and drop Sonika to her work place on his M/cycle and accordingly he became very close to Sonika and develops intimacy.

After some time during working at the chemist shop, Sonika and Abhay (another boy working at the same chemist shop where Sonika was working) became good friends. Sonika started avoiding Mahender and started using the train for going to her office. It appeared to Mahender that Sonika is now avoiding him and this has happened due to her friendship with Abhay. He was in no mood to tolerate this. He tried to speak Sonika while on her way to railway station. Sonika didn't respond very well and also started avoiding his phone calls. During this period he came to know from Sonika that, Kash Chem does't want to keep Sonika and Abhay anymore on their services and she asked Mahender Yadav to arrange a job for her and Abhay. Mahender became very jealous of them and, accordingly he decided to eliminate Abhay from his path between him and Sonika. During this process, he arranged his known persons from the locality. On 16.06.11, as per planning he called Sonika and Abhay to Samaypur Badli Railway station and he contacted one criminal of Yadav Nagar, to arrange for vehicle and some persons to teach a lesson to Abhay and Sonika. At about 8 PM, he alongwith Suleman and Narender reached Railway station Badli, he found the said criminal with his three associates in a Maruti van. The van was got parked on the side of the railway station. They all sat in the van, whereas Mahender went towards the railway station. He found Sonika and Abhay waiting for him. He took them to a Maruti Van which was already parked on the side of the railway station on the pretext of taking them to a person for their job, who will be there in a party in Bawana. On the way he deliberately entered into altercation with Abhay and started abusing and beating him alongwith his associates. Sonika and Abhay tried to resist. They forcibly took them towards Bawana canal in the van and there he alongwith his associates took Abhay out of van and held his hands. One criminal slit his neck with the help of knife. Thereafter they threw his dead body in the Bawana canal. Sonika tried to raise alarm and threatened to report the matter to police, they all decided to eliminate Sonika as well. Accordingly he and his associates held the hands and legs of Sonika and other criminal slit her neck as well and murdered Sonika. Thereafter her body was also thrown in the canal at a distance from the place where Abhay was thrown just to avoid any linking between them. To avoid any doubt on him, he remained attached with the parents of the Sonika after the incident and asked his close friends Suleman and Narender to leave Samaypur Badli area for some time to avoid any suspicion.

A. Mahender Yadav s/o Vidhya Ram Yadav R/o H.No. D-47/1, Yadav Nagar Samay Pur Badli, Delhi Age 31 Yrs
Accused Mahender age-31 years is 10th Pass. His father is a retired Govt. employee from MTNL. He has two brothers and one sister all are married. He has been working as an assistant in chemist shop in Ashok Vihar, Model town, presently in Sector-9 Rohini.

B. Narender Kumar s/o Giriraj Kashyap, r/o Village:- Pilakhni PS:- Syana , Distt. Bulandsahar, U.P Age 19 yrs

Accused Narender S/o Giriraj Kashyap age 19 years he has one brother and three sisters, which of them only one sister is married. He has studied up to 5th Std. He failed repeatedly and dropped out of school. He is working as a labour in Samay Pur Badli area and doing the work of Metal Polish to gas stoves. He is known to the Mahender Yadav since last two years through his friend Suleman, who is also doing metal polish to gas stoves along with him.
C. Suleman s/o Ahamad Khan R/o H.No. 160, E-Block, Yadav Nagar SamayPur, Delhi Age 31 Yrs

Accused Suleman s/o Ahamad Khan age-31 years he has 1 brother and three sisters. He has studied upto 5th standard. He is working as a labour in Samay Pur Badli area and doing the work of Metal Polish to gas stoves. He is known to the Mahender Yadav since his childhood as they both are brought up in Samaypur Badli and are friends from the childhood.
