India Green Reality Pvt Ltd and Darpani, a dance institution, jointly organised one of the legendary and most distinguished lyrical tales of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, "Shyama- the dusky dame. Arnab Bandhopadhay, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Sreela Majumdar, Satinath Mukherjee, Soumili Biswas, Rajesh Karmakar, Sraboni Sen and many others participated in the dance drama on Sunday (8 July, 2012) at GD Birla Sabhaghar.

Bangalore Bandh on 31st July, 2014 hits normal life

Bangalore 31 July, 2014: Normal life was hit severely in Bangalore following a bandh called by Pro Kannada Organizations in protest of crimes against women.

The organisations, however, exempted essential services, including milk supply, ambulances, trains and inter-state buses from the shutdown.

"We have appealed to the state-run BMTC not to operate bus services across the city and urged schools, colleges, private companies including IT firms, shops, theatres and markets to declare a holiday and join us in the protest," Nagaraj said.
