Think Big like Android Applications

Hyderabad, July 26, 2013: A one day workshop Applications of Embedded Systems in Mobile Phones was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, GITAM University, Hyderabad.

The resource person for the Workshop was Mr. Venkateswara Rao Sanaka, Senior Design Engineer, Nokia who was associated with design of Nokia 311 and 303 mobile phones shared his experiences with the students. He informed the students to Think Big like about applications in Android, Tagtile, thetileapp etc. He also discussed the hands of experiences in Industrial Study (2005) - Alcatel OCB 283 exchange using Motorola 680XX (68020 and 68030) etc. Mr. Rao, who is strong in Proficiency in Algorithms, Data Structures etc. had live discussions in Programming in these areas.

Addressing the gathering Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director Campus, informed the students that this workshop will be informative and highly helpful to the students. Prof. K.Manjunathachari, Head of the department, told the importance of embedded systems. He also informed that the course is designed as per the Industry standard. Dr. P.Trinatha Rao, Associate Professor, Welcomed the gathering.

The faculty and the III Year B.Tech. Students of ECE were actively participated in the workshop. The workshop concluded with formal vote of thanks by Mr.Raghuvaran.
