Sayings of Prophet Mohammed(Peace be upon him)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best of you are those who are slow to anger and swift to cool down...Beware of anger, for it is a live coal on the heart of the descendants of Adam."
"(The righteous) are those who spend generously (in the way of God), whether they are in prosperity or in adversity, who control their anger and forgive other people, for God loves those who do good."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "God has revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one oppresses another and boasts over another." -
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Charity is prescribed for each descendant of Adam every day the sun rises." He was then asked: "From what do we give charity every day?" The Prophet answered: "The doors of goodness are many...enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one's legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the feeble with the strength of one's arms--all of these are charity prescribed for you."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "God has revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one oppresses another. . ." -
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, God will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Every faith has an innate character. The character of Islam is modesty."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There is no gift better and more vast (that you may be given) than patience."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in his final sermon: "No one has superiority over another except by piety and good action."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best among you are those who treat their wives in the best manner."
Narrated Aisha - "(The Prophet Muhammad) never beat anyone with his hand, neither a woman nor a servant."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Every nation has a test to undergo. My nation will be tried through wealth."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone has a female child, and does not bury her alive (a pre-Islamic practice), or slight her, or prefer his (male) children to her, God will bring him into Paradise."
Hakim bin Hizam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Both parties in a business transaction have a right to annul it so long as they have not separated; and if they tell the truth and make everything clear to each other (i.e., the seller and the buyer speak the truth, the seller with regard to what is purchased, and the buyer with regard to the money) they will be blessed in their transaction, but if they conceal anything and lie, the blessing on their transaction will be eliminated.''
Ibn `Umar and `Aishah (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Jibril (Gabriel) kept recommending treating neighbors with kindness until I thought he would assign a share of inheritance".
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying, "When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: `Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath"
Zubair bin `Awwam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "It is far better for you to take your rope, go to the mountain, (cut some firewood) carry it on your back, and sell it and thereby save your face than begging from people whether they give you or refuse.''
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain good relation with kins; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.''
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah (Paradise) easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge."
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)said,
"It is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, to acquire knowledge".
Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "A true believer does not taunt or curse or abuse or talk indecently.''
