Ponguleti allays fears over T-panel
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (THD News): The AICC secretary, Mr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, today said that the people of the region need not have any doubts that the proposed committee on Telangana to be constituted by the Centre would put the burning issue in cold storage. Speaking to media persons here, Mr Sudhakar Reddy reiterated that the process of carving out a separate Telangana state was set in motion. He appealed to all the leaders cutting across party lines, to welcome the first step of constituting a committee to resolve the protracted Telangana issue. The AICC secretary said that all the leaders can put forward their views and grievances when the committee came into being. Reiterating that resignations by the Telangana legislators should be the last resort in the agitation, Mr Reddy said the process of carving out separate state would be faster if the people lent cooperation to the committee.
