One arrested for Illegal sale of Liquor by Hyderabad Task force Police

Hyderabad January 27/2012 (Hyderabad Deccan News) : On credible information the sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone Team, apprehended one person who selling IML Whisky & Beer Bottles at Sai Baba Nagar, Chatrinaka, Hyderabad.

NAME OF THE ACCUSED:
C. Vishwanath @ Chinna, age:25 yrs, R/o. Sai Baba Nagar, chatrinaka, Hyd.

SEIZED PROPERTY:
1] 135 whiskey bottles of various brands.
2] 120 Beer bottles of King Fisher.
3] Nett.cash of Rs. 3,900/-.

FACTS OF THE CASE:

The facts of the case are that on 26.01.2012, on receipt of credible information the South Zone Task force team apprehended one person while selling IML Whisky and bear bottles at his house situated at Sai Baba Nagar, Chatrinaka, Hyderabad. During interrogation the accused C. Vishwanath @ Chinna confessed that, about six months he started purchasing stock of Whisky, Rum and beer bottles from various wine shops situated in old city area, stocked it in his house and selling the same to the needy customers in higher rates illegally with out valid license. On 26.01.2012 in view of Govt. Holiday, all the wine shops were closed. He is selling the liquor bottles at his residence.

The arrested accused and seized property were handed over to S.H.O. Chatrinaka P.S. for further action.


The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri. Suhas Chaturvedi, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad City, by Sri. S. Mohan Kumar, Inspector of Police along with staff of South Zone Task Force team.
