Moulana Aqil is no more.
Hyderabad, Mar. 12 (Staff Reporter):Eminent Isalamic scholar, Preacher and Muslim leader Moulana Hamiduddin Aqil Hussami passed away in the early hours of morning today at arround 4:15 am, he was 82. His Death has left so many of his followers and all the muslims of India especially of Hyderabad shocked. He was one of the key leaders of Muslims in India, Moulana Aqil was the founder head of Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom, a famous seat of Islamic learning in the city.Thousands of people thronged his residence at panjesha in old city to get a glimpse of him. His funeral prayers (Namaz e Janaza ) was offered at Mecca Masjid in old city of Hyderabad after Friday Prayers, it was an like an ocean of people today at Mecca Masjid. Thousands gathered to attend the Namaz e Janaza. Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and eminent personalities from different walks of life condoled the death of Moulana Aqil.
