Medical mission extended for Doctors and Paramedics for Haj 2012-AP State Haj Committee

Hyderabad March 28/2012 (Hyderabad Deccan News) : Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed Chairman AP State Haj Committee has announced that the Ministry of External Affairs Government of India has invited applications from Muslim doctors and paramedical staff (Government servants only) for temporary deputation to Consulate General of India, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to render medical assistance as Doctors and Paramedics (Allopathic) for Haj - 2012.

The period of deputation will be 2-3 months. The last date for submission of the applications, thourgh proper channel i.e Medical & Health Department, government of Andhra Pradesh, has been extended up to April 15, 2012, he said. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. The Applications should not be sent to the AP State Haj Committee, he said.

Shukoor Executive Officer AP State Haj Committee in a media release said that the prescribed application form, eligibility criteria, copies of passport form, visa form and other conditions can be obtained from the web site of the Haj Committee of India www.hajcommittee.com. The details can be accessed on the website of this Ministry (www.mea.gov.in) under the head "In Focus" followed by "Haj", he said.

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of length of their service and experience and desirable qualifications such as, knowledge of regional languages, experience in public relations, etc. Ministry's decision on selection of suitable candidates shall be final. The selected candidates should apply for official passports to their Regional Passport Offices (RPO) concerned.

Applications, duly forwarded by Directorate of Health Services may be sent at following address: Haj Cell, Ministry of External Affairs, ISIL Building, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi. (The Cadre Controlling Authority may please ensure that a separate certificate duly signed is attached to each application verifying the information given in column 5, 6, 7, & 10 of the application).
