Jagan route: YSR route or ......?

Hyderabad, Jul 7: If it was asked who was the main stumbling block for Telangana before 2009, the spontaneous reply by every Telanganite would have been YSR. It was after YSR's death that the Telangana movement got intensified.
During 2009 elections addressing election meetings Andhra YSR frightened the people by saying Hyderabad would not be ours and we should have Visas to visit the city. He has made it amply clear that he was an integrationist.
KCR & Co. which has understood very late, that YSR joining with them in the 2004 elections and making Sonia Gandhi pronounce pro-Telangana statement was all election stunt. This was the reason why KCR has not supported YSR in the 2009 elections.
Let's go into the present - Jagan has come out of the Congress and launched his own party. He has been saying that his father's route was his route too. He is marching ahead with his father's name, photos and schemes as his party's agenda.
The first Plenary of the YSR Congress would be held tomorrow (July 8). Jagan is going to divulge his party's agenda in it.
The Telangana agitation is in now full swing. YSR Congress leaders have been stating that Jagan would announce his party's stand on Telangana in the plenary. While Seemandhra leaders have been stating that Jagan is an integrationist, Telangana leaders like Konda Surekha and Gone Prakasha Rao have been hoping that he would make a pro-Telangana announcement. They even warned that they would leave Jagan if he expresses himself against Telangana.
Now it has to be watched which route Jagan would take - his father's route or separate Telangana route to please the people of this region. It has also to be watched if he would sit on the fence without stating one way or the other. Which stand he would take in the plenary is being widely discussed now.
