Illegal resale of railway general tickets in Hyderabad One held


Hyderabad 09 December (Hyderabad Deccan News) : The sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone Team apprehended one person who is selling the used Railway General Tickets second time illegally by fabricating the time on the Railway tickets with eraser and black pen and seized 20 Railway Tickets worth of Rs. 1100/- from his possession.

Details of Accused:

1) Gannarapu Chandramouli s/o G. Ramulu, age. 32 yrs, Occ: ironing clothes, Gudibandal, Hanmakonda X Roads, Warangal District.

Previous involvement:

Earlier he was arrested two times by Railway Police and Task Force Police for similar offence

Details of the case:

Gunnarapu Chandra Mouli is native of Hanmakonda. He eking food by doing ironing of cloths.

The accused waits at Warangal or Kazipet Railway station in the morning. He collects the railway tickets from the passengers who come out and throw the tickets. He used to collect 50 to 60 railway tickets from the passangers. By taking the tickets in bulk he comes to Secunderabad railway station. At the booking counter he convinces the passengers that he took the tickets for a train which is gone before he came and sale the tickets to the passengers at cheaper rates. If the original cost of ticket is Rs. 80/- he sale at Rs. 30/- to Rs. 40/-.

The accused person and the seized railway tickets were handed to Railway Police Station, Secunderbad for taking further necessary action.

The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri.Ch. Ramchander, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force by Sri. L. Raja Venkat Reddy, Inspector of Police, North Zone Task Force Team with the assistance of SIs. L. Ramanjaneyulu, V. Tirupathi, A. Suryanarayana and staff of North Zone Task Force team.
