HMDA to sell 42 plots in and around Hyderabad city

By Syed Ather Hasan : Hyderabad Metro Development Authority has identified 42 plots in Greater Hyderabad vicinity and finalized a plan to sell it. These sites will be sold though e-bidding and tenders as well. The size and price varies according to its location.Plots are at;

1.Asifnagar (New), 2. Miyapur, 3.Nallagandla, 4.Ramachandrapuram (Chandanagar),5 Tellapur, 6.Gopanpally 7 Nandagiri Hills

Briiefing to the media HMDA Commissioner Mr. Prasad told that this time his department has made some changes in the bidding process. Apart from e-bidding the payment procedure has also been changed so that the successive bidders can make the payment in a bit relaxed way.. Bidding will be open for public on 14 July 2012 at 11 AM and would close on 7 August 2012 at 3 PM. For ebidding a person has to log into the website of HMDA and follow the instruction which includes online payment of EMD that is 10% of total cut of price, as for tenders it has to be submitted in two envelopes containing personal details in one and bidding details along with a bank's demand draft in other, both these has to be sealed in one enveloped and submitted at its office, replying to a question to the correspondent of this paper on the credibility of title, Commissioner replied that his department has taken utmost care and there is no disputed land in this, to remind you previously there were incidents of selling private and waqf lands by government departments and many of them are still unresolved. Through this sale the government is expecting a revenue of more than 174 crores. (S Ather Hasan)
