Friday prayers passed off peacefully in Hyderabad
Hyderabad 02 Apr 2010 (Staff Reporter): Its tensed and charged in Hyderabad again anticipating violence, today being Friday in Hyderabad. Many times in the past there were some disturbances seen after Friday prayers particularly near historic Mecca Masjid near Charminar. situation was unusually calm and quiet in old city, there were only 500 to 600 people today, where as there is always a gathering of thousands on every Friday. Among the people who were there at Friday prayers most were police and media personnel's. Security in whole curfew bound areas was very tight, all the through fares were sealed by erecting barbed wires at entry and exits.ews ) :
