Cheating gang Nabbed for duping with a false promise to give fake Indian Currency notes



The sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, West Zone Team apprehended two persons Near Gokul theatre, Eragadda, S.R. Nagar, Hyderabad on 17-07-2012 and seized plywood box filled with News paper bundles four original 100 Rupees currency note on two side of the box 2 mobile phones etc. from their possession.

Details of the accused persons

1.Reddy Pandu Ranga Rao @ Bujji, S/o late R. Krishna Murthy, 43 years, caste: Kamma, occ: real estate broker, r/o C-84, 2nd Phase, Allwyn Colony, Kukatpally, RR Dist, N/o Undrajavaram(V & M), Tanuku, West Godavari Dist

2.Syed Sami S/O Babu Miya aged 28 years Occ: Auto Driver r/o H.No.3-135, Aditya Nagar, New Hafeezpet, Hyderabad.

MODUS OPERANDI:

The accused after contacting the customer who intend to buy fake currency Notes for 1 : 3 ratio, The accused carries one ply wood box filled with news paper bundles inside, and pastes Original 100 Rupee Notes on both sides of the box, and shows the box with 100 Rupees Notes on the sides of the box to the customers, and as soon as they collect the money from the customers, they hand over the box and sped away from the spot.

DETAILS OF THE CASE:

On 17-07-2012 the West Zone Task Force Team on tip off information apprehended the accused persons who were trying to deceive the persons with a false promise to give fake Indian currency notes

The accused persons Reddy Pandu Ranga Rao @ Bujji, and Syed Sami were in habit of cheating to the innocent public by inducing them to offer fake Indian Currency notes in 1:3 ratio. When the party will contact them for collecting fake Indian Currency notes, they will deceive the persons and sped away from the spot by taking the original currency from them. Previously the accused Bujji in connivance with other accused persons committed offences in various places at Bheemavaram, Rajahmundry, Bangalore, Anantapur, Palakollu, Aurangabad, Tanuku and Sathupalli from December, 2010 to December, 2011 for a tune of Rs.14.25 lakhs. The accused was arrested earlier also by Task Force team on 23-02-12.

Today while they were waiting near Gokul theatre, Eragadda S.R. Nagar, Hyderabad with an intention to cheat the party in the mean while the Task Force Police apprehended them.

The accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO, S.R. Nagar PS for further investigation.

The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri Ch. Ramchander, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force, Sri S. Rama Chandra Reddy, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SI Sri. G.Balraj and the Staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner's Task Force, Hyderabad.
