CM unevils the plaque of TATA Helicopter Cabin Manufacturing unit at Taj Krishna



Hyderabad July 30, 2009(Staff Reporter) : Tata Advanced Systems (TAS) a 100 percent subsidiary of Tata sons has conducted ground breaking/foundation stone ceremony at SEZ Adibatla village, RR Dist Hyderabad. For its Sikrosky S-92 Helicopter cabin manufacturing unit before this final event. This is joint venture of TATA and Israel Aerospace Industries. The Chief MInister of AP Dr. Y S Rajsekhar Reddy expressed his happiness that TATA has chosen AP for its manufacturing plant and handed over allotment letter of Land to the official of JV i.e NOVA Integrated system.Every TATA company or enterprise operates independently. Each of these companies has its own board of directors and shareholders, to whom it is answerable. There are 27 publicly listed TATA enterprises and they have a combined market capitalization of some $49 billion, and a shareholder base of 3.2 million. The major TATA companies are TATA Steel, TATA Motors, TATA cConsultancy Services (TCS), TATA Power, TATA Chemicals, TATA Tea, Indian Hotels and TATA Communication.The Hon'ble Minister for Major Industries, Sri K L Narayana graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.On the occasion a message from the Chairman of TATA Sons, Mr. Ratan N. Tata was read out by Lt. Gen (Retd) Davinder Kumar, Managing Director, Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. The event was attended by Sri B. Sam Bob IAS, Principal Secretary & CP Industries & Commerce Department, Sri B.P Acharya IAS, Chairman & Managing Director APIIC, Dr. P.V Ramesh IAS, Commissioner of Industries and Sri M.S Rao IAS, Development Commissioner, VSEZ
