Blood bath, for how long

By : Ather Hasan (Joint Editor) : Muammar Gaddafi's killing has marked another mile stone in America and its ally's accession. This is no where a victory when you see the new regime setting its power on the base of killings and barbarism. If west proclaims Gaddafi as dictator and killer of its own people, then the new radicals are not different. The situation in whole of Middle East especially in the Arab countrieshas become worrisome since the beginning of this year. The upsurge in this region has made it easier for US and some of its allies get their own interests fulfilled. The support and aide provided to Arab rebels by the energy and investment starved western governments is not understandable by any civilized and sensible person. Democratization of these countries and motive behind it is not hidden, one fails to understand this selective process of Democratization. Why the US dominated UNO and its Security Council does not do any thing in consolidating the democracy in many such other countries? , Cuba is right under its nose, Myanmar is always in news for its anti democratic stand, Israel does not accept the peoples mandate at all and same USA wants to punish the people of Palestine for electing such a government. Is this what you call democratization! No action is been initiated against the North Korea, Why? Are they following democracy?
When these Muslims supported by west fight and kill innocents they are opposition and reformers but when a few take violent way of reform not only them but the whole Muslim community is labeled as terrorist. Civilized people all over the world are fed up with this blood bath in the name of democracy and double standards. Sponsoring the killings and arming the anti government to kill innocents especially, women, children and aged by these rogues can not be justified by any means and is not acceptable at all. If the world leaders really want a peaceful and democratic society then it must adopt some other ways, to tackle the autocrats and dictators, but not by supporting those who believe in vandalism. As of now the intention of these bankrupted western countries is apparent, every body now believes that in the guise of bringing democracy and peace, these governments are just trying to loot the natural resources and wealth of the people of these countries. Some times it is labeled as war against terror and some times it is democratization. We all wish the process of peace and equality will begin from UNO and Security Council itself, otherwise it is just a waste organization where one nation turns down the will of rest of the world.
