ACB raids excise office, unaccounted cash found
Hyderabad, Jan 20 (Hyderabad Deccan News): The Anti Corruption Burearu officials on Thursday conducted surprise checks at Prohibition and Excise Office, Kollapur, Mahabubnagar district. The ACB sleuths conducted raid based on a complaint that the Prohibition and Excise Inspector, Kollapur of Maboobubnagar and his staff are indulging in collecting monthly mamools from Toddy Sellers/Toddy Tappers of Killapur Area of Mahabubnagar. During the surprise check, an amount of Rs 3,920 from the possession of M A Quddus, Inspector, Rs 18,630 from J Saianna, SI, Rs 12,610 from V Ramesh, Head Constable, Rs 33,790 from Md Nayeem, Clerk, Rs 240 from C Ramulu, PC and Rs 390 from Murali Mohan PC and Rs 2,700 was found. Thus a total cash of Rs. 72,280 was seized during the surprise check.
