ACB raids MVI, DA discovered


Visakhapatnam, Feb 10 (Hyderabad Deccan News): The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids over the residence and relatives residences of Pendurthi Venkata Gangadhar Rao, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Deputy Transport Commissioner, at Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Vijayawada on Thursday and recovered disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 40 lakh.
Searches resulted in unearthing assets including 2 (Two) Houses at Visakhapatnam, 7 plots -- 6 plots at Visakhapatnam and one plot at Guntur, Six Acres of Agricultural land at Penumuli, Guntur District, Gold worth Rs.50,000, Net Cash of Rs 40,000 and House Hold Articles Worth Rs 3 lakhs. Venkata Gangadhar Rao will be produced before the Court for Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Visakahpatnam.
