Seagate launches new Goflex slim portable hard drive
Mumbai, May 12:Seagate, a computer hardware company, today launched its new Goflex slim portable hard drive in India.
Addressing the media here today, its country manager Rajesh Khurana said it is a svelte, 9mm, 2.5mm external drive designed for the latest trend of portable thin, stylish laptop and net-books.
This gadget was initially showcased at the 2011 international consumer electronics show in January this year.
The drive, having a capacity of 320 GB, can be purchased for a manufacturer's suggested retail price of Rs 4500.
It's roughly the width of a pencil sliding effortlessly into a pocket, purse or messenger bag, the Goflex slim drive enables the transport, access and enjoyment of a personal digital compliant from anywhere, making it the perfect compliment to noble lifestyle equipped with a 7200 RM drive and a USB3.0 interface to accelerate transfer speeds up to 10x Faster than from USB 2.0.
This attractive super slim drive delivers quick delivers quick access to large, multi-media files such as HD movies and video games. (Agencies)
